Camila Timaná is an assistant at CINCIA's Aquatic Ecosystems Program.
Camila has experience in research projects related to monitoring diversity with molecular tools, quality of water resources and restoration of aquatic ecosystems. Currently, together with CINCIA's Aquatic Ecosystems Program and the Center for Water Research and Technology (CITA-UTEC), it is investigating the use of environmental DNA as a tool for monitoring diversity in pools abandoned by ASM in Madre de Dios.
Camila is an Environmental Engineer from the University of Engineering and Technology - UTEC.
