Coordinator, Restoration Program with MAPE Actors

France Cabanillas is the Deputy Coordinator of CINCIA's Ecosystem Restoration Program.

France has extensive experience working in the forestry and environmental sector in Peru and has worked in Madre de Dios since 2011 on topics related to the environmental management of alluvial mining, the restoration of degraded areas, and the problem of mercury pollution and its consequences.

France is trained as a forest engineer and holds a Bachelor's degree in Forestry from the Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina in Lima, Peru, and a Master's degree in Environmental Management of Ecosystems from the ENGREF-AgroParisTech (French National School of Forestry) in Paris, France.
